Un Riewoldt peut en cacher un autre. Nick,la vedette de Saint Kilda blessé, c'est son cousin Jack des Tigers de Richmond qui occupe la première place du classement des buteurs devant l'expérimenté Barry Hall qui a retrouvé une seconde jeunesse depuis qu'il joue avec les Western Bulldogs.

AFL ROUND 17: LES MAGPIES EN TETE


Après 17 journées, la lutte est serrée pour la première place du classement AFL. Ce sont actuellement les Magpies de Collingwood qui sont aux commandes avec 2 petits points d'avance sur le champion en titre, les Geelong Cats, et 4 points d'avance sur les Saints de Saint Kilda.
A 5 journées du terme de la saison régulière, la préoccupation des équipes est de finir parmi les huit premiers afin de s'assurer de jouer les Finals (play-offs) qui se dérouleront en septembre. Même si aucune n'est encore éliminée mathématiquement, cela semble tout de même compromis pour les West Coast Eagles actuelle lanterne rouge ainsi que pour les Tigers de Richmond et les Brisbane Lions.
